Who Are We

Meet Tenae

Hi, My name is Tenae, and I am the brains and the manpower behind Evermore Events.

To share a little bit about me, I grew up moving around South East Queensland, from the beautiful beaches on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane City, and the small country town of Warwick, I have seen it all!

I moved to Toowoomba, QLD in 2019 after being in Brisbane for 8 years. Brisbane will always have a piece of my heart, but as I got older and not much wiser, the hustle & bustle of the city, wasn’t as attractive to me, and my country roots were calling me back. Toowoomba was where I had family, and it has the perfect mix of the city & country lifestyle for me.

I have always had a creative streak, but more than anything, I have always been the planner in every scenario. “Family Holiday? Let me create an Itinerary. Girls Weekend? Leave it with me to book it all. Christmas Lunch? Sister’s Baby Shower? I’ve got this.”

I am the sort of person that has lists and schedules all over my fridge, the notes app on my phone is organised with all sorts of tasks, I have 3 diaries to plan my life and don’t even get me started on the Excel sheets!

All this aside, I am a very genuine and humble person, I am always trying to be the best version of myself, in order to be the best version for my clients. I love to get to know my clients and build a trusting relationship with them, and don’t mind a bit of banter here and there too.

If you think I am someone you’d like to have involved in your special day, send me an email as I would love to hear from you.

The Evermore Story

Before Evermore Events, I worked in multiple other industries. Fresh out of school I completed a Hairdressing Apprenticeship, which I absolutely loved, but unfortunately due to issues with my wrists, I was not able to continue this in the long run, which meant I had to find a new career path.

That lead me to an entry level office job, and this job really shaped my future. I worked in a National Project Management Team and worked my way up from an Administration Assistant to Junior Project Manager, I loved the planning and organising of projects, to start one, figure out all the steps that you would need to follow to achieve your desired outcome, put them into practice, and have a very happy client at the end. As much as I loved the work I was doing, and the amazing team I had by my side, I just had no passion for the industry I was working in.

It was time for a new adventure.

I sat down one evening and said to myself, “What do I enjoy? What makes me happy? How can I combine my love for planning and organising, in a job that I have a real passion for?”

Being the socialite that I am, and someone who is a big rom-com lover and fairytale believer, Wedding Planner couldn’t have been more perfect for me. I started my Wedding career at one of Australia’s most luxurious wedding venues, and I am forever grateful my time there. They are a leading venue provider for a reason, and it allowed me to learn what it takes to provide the best possible service in all areas of the industry. I worked with some incredible vendors & suppliers and built some great relationships.

The day came when I said to myself, “I’d really like to start my own business”, and being the goal setter that I am, I jumped at the opportunity as soon as I had the chance! Evermore Events started in 2021, and as each year passes, I love this job more and more and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for Evermore.
